Today, I got off work around 6:50 and then went to eat breakfast in the cafeteria. Still, they have not figured out this whole "charge to the JBA account" business. Annoying. So I hate some breakfast and crashed. Woke up around noon, read for an hour and went for a walk for a little over an hour. The walk was nice, it was so fucking hot out!! I also got sunburnt...I need to wear more sunscreen but it doesn't even matter because I sweat it all off in the first 15 minutes. I also googled how to prevent excessive sweating. I didn't find anything.
On my walk, I noticed that a lot of people were moving out or into homes in the 'ville. I don't really have anything else to expand on with that, it was just an observation. After my walk, I was a bit more dehydrated than I thought, so I took an hour off and drank some water and got on the internet. I renewed my books and dvd loans from the library via phone. After my break, I went to the rec to do some weights and ride the bike. I got way into the bike workout and didn't realize I was mouthing the words to "Hot 'N Cold" and sort of dancing. Embarrassing. After the rec, I took a shower and then picked up Bre for her birthday dinner.
We went to Pizza Hut. I had never been inside Pizza Hut in Kirksville. They have flat screen tvs! It was pretty nice. I ate too much and my stomach hates me now. I would type out what I had to eat, but you'd be grossed out. I did have jalapeño poppers but was disappointed on their lack of spiciness. After that, Kara, Cathy and I went to Wal-Mart. I restocked on water, bought GQ and got some new underwear because I'm running out and am too lazy to do laundry at the moment. Also, why do they make underwear packaging so confusing?! I just want plain, black underwear...I don't need these crazy variety packs with whacky patterns. I'm plain and to the point.
After WM, we went back to Kara's and I borrowed Season 1 & 2 of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia." I haven't started watching it yet, and won't until I finish up this season of Hell's Kitchen. Also, I realized that I may be watching TOO much Hell's Kitchen because I've started to say phrases like, "Spot on!" I am so silly.
Upon leaving Kara's, I went back to my dorm room (I kind of like saying that...very nostalgic) and took a nap. I woke up around 1030 and finished reading my book ("Summer Sisters" by Judy Blume...it was just an okay read) before work.
- Jessica.
PS
I'm listening to Demi Lovato and I'm not ashamed.
She's cute and her songs are even cuter.
Ok, so you need to take the first disc of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and put it in right now, because it's a glorious show. I have the first 3 seasons and they are so so funny. I think you have the correct humor for the show - kind of "wow, this is so dumb that it's funny"...let me know how it goes!
ReplyDeleteJessica, you know. It's really healthy to sweat. You're expelling a lot of toxins, poisons, and smut from your body. Even though it's "gross", it's a hell of a lot better than people who can't sweat at all. People who can't sweat usually end up with terminal illnesses or have defunct organs.
