500 Days of Summer

Last night, I saw 500 Days of Summer with Trots, Michelle, Veronica and Elizabeth. It was SO good. I know this is cliché, but the movie hit way too close to home. I won't write the exact parallels on here, because those would be spoiler alerts, but trust that I'm telling the truth. I absolutely loved the split-screen part with reality and expectations. Also, the casting and wardrobe choices were fab.

Like I mentioned, I saw the movie with some viscom gurls and it was really nice to catch up and just hang out for a bit. The other night, I went school supply shopping with my sisters and it definitely felt weird to not be buying anything for the upcoming school year. I think I'm in a post-grad funk. And it's only been for a few days, I can't imagine how people did it all summer or longer.

Today was THE laziest Lazy Sunday I've ever had. I took some Benadryl because I've had trouble sleeping since I've gotten home and I was definitely down for the count for most of the day. I tossed and turned last night and when I finally got to bed around 6:30am, I had to wake up to go to 8:00am mass. We then had Sunday brunch with my Aunt's fam and that's all I've done today. I'm home alone right now, I guess this is a small taste of what it'll be like once everyone starts school again. Being at home has been strange but okay. Who can say they watched Borat and Beaches in the same afternoon? By the way, I have never heard my dad giggle like he did while watching Borat.
