Doin' what Chris Brown told me to (Run It)

Today, I went on a run. It's been TOO LONG since I've done this--not since I left Blue Springs, actually. Running around downtown LA is FUN. Holy shit, it's fun. There's plenty of shade because of all the tall buildings, and if you time it right, you don't ever have to stop at crosswalks because everything changes like clockwork. Today I ran by The Los Angeles Times. Randomly while I ran by there, I thought about how I've always liked to write and my release for that would be blogging. I never took writing seriously because I was always so scared that I wouldn't be accepted because I don't know proper grammar very well. But I'm thinking I might want to pursue that. Who knows. I just feel like the world is at my fingertips!

Things have been rocky between K and me. I just feel like it's us against the world. By world, I mean unfortunate circumstances. He hasn't given up on me (yet), but I really do need to check myself (before I wreck myself).

Work was actually pretty pleasant today. I'm meeting a lot of really nice people. And they are so complimentary! Also, everyone in LA LOVES purple. It's going to be the main color of the holiday season at BL, too (swoon). I worked form 3-10p tonight. The walk home from work was brisk...I guess it gets pretty cool in LA. Almost cool enough for me to wear a cardigan (almost). Tomorrow, I have the day off...I'm thinking I might trek to the beach? I don't know. All I know is, I have a design project, I need to study some stuff for work, I want to go for a run and of course talk to my main man.

Living alone is getting easier, but it's still pretty lonely. Oh well. The best part of living alone is that clothing is optional (haha jk...but seriously?).

  1. Reading this makes me miss your spontaneity. I'm so, so jealous you're in LA and I am in, sigh, single lettered K. Miss you! Have a good week!
