Rolled out...

...of bed around 10ish this morning. I don't have to work or anything, so today I think I'm going to furniture browse online. I can't wait to visit IKEA IRL. I'm kind of getting excited to have my own place and start furnishing it, etc. Right now, I'm looking for something to sleep on (I know futons are uncomfortable, but I already have a great bed at home, ugh decisions, decisions), a rug of some sort and desk (for now). I include too many parenthetical statements in my writing (if I were clever enough, I'd make some sort of pun about parents right now). So what started off as a pretty average morn, changed when I got a phone call from Rosslyn Lofts (the place where I'm applying to live). My gurl Erica, who is in charge of my paper and app process, called to follow-up on my application and said that the last thing I need to be done is to get my current employer verification. I can't remember if I mentioned it yesterday, but I was on the phone with Truman (Spirit, got it!), my mom (to fax more taxes info), Bottega Louie and Rosslyn allllll day trying to move this process along. I felt pretty adult trying to pull all this together. Anyway, I called BL to see if they had faxed my info and it's sitting there waiting for someone to give it a green light to be sent over to Rosslyn. After that, my application will go to the compliance manager and then (HOPEFULLY) by the end of the day, I will know if I'm placed! Ugh, this is just like when I was waiting if I passed proficiency (except the likelihood is greater) or when I was waiting to see if I got accepted to Truman (except the likelihood is lesser, ha). Finding out today would be great-- short timeline for myself: get apartment today, look at apartment, pay for it tomorrow, buy furniture and junk tomorrow, sleep in my own place tomorrow. Is that too ridiculous? Maybe so, but a girl can dream. I would just like to get all of this taken care of because I work all weekend long.

Aside from that, I'm just waiting on some phone calls and I'll probably venture to IKEA, eat some food (SO HUNGRY) and watch more Mad Men, Glee and Hell's Kitchen.

I'm freakin' out about my iPhone. It fritzed again last night. Is it because of all the hype about MMS coming out on Friday? Does my phone foresee the happenings of Friday? I miss LOST.

I've decided I'm going to give FlashForward (is there a space?) a go.
