Parfait, more like barf-ay.

I made the mistake of buying a parfait from McDonald's instead of my McDouble craving. This is all part of my "being healthier" regime. Most people get rid of fast food completely, I just order crappier things off the menu APPARENTLY. The only redeeming quality of that situation is that I was eating the parfait while watching the new episode of Mad Men. (SO GOOD)

A cool part about working at Bottega is that they heavily encourage their workers to socialize with the customers. I've met SO many interesting people. My favorite subjects I try to bring up in conversations:
1. Mad Men
2. LOST
3. Purple being in
4. Hall & Oates
5. How vanilla eclairs are really yummy

I'm still having a good time here in LA. I think I finally feel settled in.

OH. Yesterday, I had to be at work at 5:30am (UGH I KNOW) and so I hauled ass through the streets of downtown Los Angeles in the asscrack of dawn. I was a bit in a haze and while I was crossing the street, a huge RAT scattered out from the gutter. I wanted to barf.

I've been working out almost everyday and this has left me feeling:
1. Very tired
2. Pretty good
3. SO HUNGRY

Other gym-related things:
1. When I text people to say that I can't talk bc I'm "at the gym," about 50% of the time, I accidentally type "gyn" to which my iPhone changes to "at the OBGYN." Yipes.
2. I've been seeing the same people at the gym so I'm starting to make those friends who you smile and nod at. There are also a lot of people from BL that work out there (it's so close to work!). The funniest thing is (and this happens anywhere) when acquaintances come up to you to talk and on your iPod, really silly songs are playing. For instance: "Give Me Just One Night (Una Noche)" and anything by Fastball.

I miss working out with Joyce and then eating pastrami sandwiches afterwards (NOM NOM NOM)

In other news:
I AM SO HAPPY! Kenny and I made it official last night. Nothing really has changed between us, except now that it's on Facebook for all the world (or our selected networks) to see.
