...ha, bet you thought I was going to talk about that new musical.

Nope.

Nine days until I see K!

In other countdown news, I go home in 2, TWO days! Seems so long ago when I boarded the plane and left good ole Blue Springs. I'm excited to go home. It'll be nice to have a little break from work (though I love it) and it'll be especially nice to see my family (and my lil cuz, Franny!) and catch up with them. Also, all of my sisters will be on Christmas break so that means quality time. My flight leaves LAX around 5pm on Monday and that'll have me landing at MCI close to midnight (with a small layover in Las Vegas). I arranged for an airport shuttle to pick me up at The Rosslyn. Surprisingly, it's cheaper than getting a taxi (like $30 cheaper!). The McAllister family knew what was up (yes, Home Alone reference).

I know I'm horrible at updating this blog, but just know that things are going AWESOME. Perfect. Great. Fantastic. The weather in California is barely 65 degrees as of late and it's just perfect. Work is AWESOME. Love designing, love the brand, love the research, love love love.

Went to The Beverly Center the other night and bought some clothes to wear on Christmas. I've barely done any shopping, ugh. I figure I'll do all that when I go home (yikes). That gives me two days...but I'm not too worried about it, it's just for my family mostly. And besides, at that point, it'd be so late in the shopping season, it'll probably just be a bunch of dudes wandering around looking for gifts for their girlfriends (not my man, who did his shopping early).

Today, I'm heading to The Fashion District to pick up some things for the fam. This will all happen after I work out, considering shopping always is soooo tiring. Tomorrow morn, I'm going to church and then heading to Goldilocks (filipino pastry shop) to pick up some stuff for the fam. Cleaning up, laundry, packing and then it'll be Monday before I know it!
