Milk Was A Bad Choice

Or so I thought!

Growing up, we always had 2% milk at my house and though I knew it was good for my bones (at a young age, I was well aware of osteoporosis ... thanks to having a family full of doctors and nurses) and that it would make me look HOT like those milk mustache ads. I would force myself to drink a glass of it every day (not a fan of cereal either, it was a lose-lose situation) and I couldn't do it (sorry Ashley Long).

But a month ago, when Kenny visited, I stocked my fridge with skim milk because I know he's a fan. One breakfast, he was having cereal and I tried some and it was GOOD! Since then, I've been going through gallons of it (literally). Just thought I'd share. It was on my mind because I'm drinking it RIGHT NOW.

Enjoying the Milk(y) Way!

  1. We always drank 2% too! And then when I grew up, I switched to skim because it doesn't taste like I'm drinking butter.

...though in retrospect there would be nothing wrong with that.

  2. Ashley isn't here with me right now as I type this from my toilet, but I can say on behalf of her that she is loving this post right now, except for the part about skim milk. She prefers 2%.
