I know, it's been quite awhile. Things have been cray-cray. Kenny was in the hospital for almost a week! He had a blood clot and they had to go in and figure things out. Turns out, it was the same surgery he had the summer after high school. Still, I was worried. The doctor said that there was a 5% chance that people who went through that surgery would have it done on the other side of his or her body. Lucky Kenny, huh? (not so much). Anyway, with Kenny being in the hospital, I was worried most days and used it as an excuse to send him balloons with silly pictures like a monkey hanging upside down saying "Hang in there!"
Kenny's back and better than ever and now I'm just counting down the days until I see him again (46 days). I'm going home to KC because Jill's graduating from high school. Actually, all three of my sisters are graduating. Jessamine is graduating with her BSN, Ness is graduating with her Associate's (before finishing with her BSN) and I already talked about Jillian. I'm really excited for some family time. And seeing Kenny too, of course. I imagine we'll go out in KC one of the nights. I'm staying for a week and then my sisters are coming to home to LA with me and they're going to chill here for another week or so. Pretty excited to show them around!
It's crazy that it's almost the anniversary of graduation! I've been through a lot in a year. I spent a summer in Kirksville, moved to LA, worked a couple of different jobs, made things official with K...amongst other things. Time flies. It's crazy that the year is already a third of the way done. Can't wait until 2010 is over, though. Tentatively, Kenny is moving to LA in January!!
Hopefully I'll update more often! Seeing as now I'm not so distracted with hospital calls and worrying about my man.
