Guess it’s finally "summer" in Los Angeles. Man, I'm feelin' the heat! And the weekends are lame because I don't have AC. Oh well, at least it's not humid. This morning, I went to the grocery store. Walking there wasn't too bad, but the walk back was H O T. My back also started to hurt. Kenny is arriving on Tuesday so I had to add: marshmallows, chocolate bars and graham crackers to my grocery list this week. Shh...don't tell, I've already had a bunch of s'mores. I had to put the chocolate in the fridge because after my nap, those silly bars were melted! Sigh.

So I'm getting SUPER PUMPED for Kenny's arrival. It'll be great because he's arriving at 8:10pm PST and I get off work around 6-6:30...so I'll take the D DASH (I love how it sounds like you're saying "The Dash"... "I will take D Batteries") all the way to Union Station (approx 15-20 min) and then the Flyaway to LAX (approx 30-45 min)...right in time to see that super handsome 6'7" Iowan walk off D (the) plane!! I get so excited every time I see him...no matter if it's only been a little over a month or 3 months since I last saw him. It's just nice to see a familiar face and have some good hand-holding time around the city (whilst dodging homeless people and business men on cell phones, carrying venti coffees and not looking where they're going).

I'm about to do some laundry but I keep getting distracted by watching Desperate Housewives. It's SOOOO good. I'm all caught up on GREEK and a lot of my other shows are on hiatus for the next few months so I decided to start a new series. I have a long list of television shows I need to start watching, some of which include: Kings, The Big Bang Theory, Dexter, amongst others. Should I get Netflix? Also, my Mad Men site totally went craycray, so we haven't been able to watch it (UGH). Should I spring for the iTunes subscription?? SO MANY QUESTIONS!
