Thank You (Not the Dido Song)

I know it's late for a Thanksgiving post, but I just got back from an extended weekend in Sacramento visiting my favorite uncle and his fam. I left for Sacramento last Thursday, after a quick work-out. The flight was so quick! One hour, tops. My cousin Aivee and my Aunt Eloi picked me up and we went to see my Uncle at work. We got back to their house and had Thanksgiving dinner, yum! Thursday night was low-key, we watched The Hangover and just hung out. On Black Friday, Aivee and I woke up sorta-early. We were at the galleria by 5am. I didn't buy much--I got a cardigan from Forever. I also bought Kenny a hat and some underwear for myself. I wasn't really in the mood for shopping but it was nice to bond with Aivee. We got home before 10am and we kinda napped and watched some infomercials. We then woke up and headed to Redding, about 2 hours away, to visit my other cousin (Aivee's older sis) and her fambam. LOVE THEM! My nephew is the cutest!! We ate dinner at a mexican restaurant and got back to their place and skype'd with the family in Blue Springs.

All in all, very great to see my loving family. I just can't get enough of them!

The lame part is my flight was at 6am this morning so I was up at 3am to get to the airport in time. Slept the entire hour back and rush rush rushed to get on the Flyaway and DASH to get to work. I was a bit late but not as much as I thought I'd be so it's all good.

Enough of that, since began blogging (circa 2002), on Thanksgiving I would post a list of people/things I am thankful for (I know, original, amirite?) I had plans to make a cool collage in photoshop but ran out of time. So here it is!

1. Family! Duh, of course. If any one knows me, they know my family is of the utmost importance. I love them and care about them and can't wait to see a majority of them in just a few weeks! This goes for extended fam too!

2. Kenny Keefer. Who knew that the super tall and sassy boy from my YAL class would be so important to me 2 years later. Well, I guess I did tell Amber in class that I was gonna "get with him."

3. BFFs!! You know who you are, can't wait to see ya Joyce, Amber & Ashley! To my LDF (long distance friends) in Chicago and beyond, I'll be thinking of you come this holiday season!

4. Food, shelter, the norm.

5. Apple Products. Can't live without them!

6. Cardigans (only saying this because I am really cold right now).

7. Southwest Airlines for all my travel needs.

8. Netflix/Hulu/Pandora for all my entertainment needs.

9. White chocolate (bc I'm kinda hungry).

10. Other things I can't think of right now.
