It's been a crazy few weeks as of late. After I got back from Hollywood, the fam and I went to Branson, Missouri. There, we went to Ride the Ducks, saw some Chinese acrobats, swam a bit and relaxed a lot. It was pretty nice and just the right refresher to head back up to the 'ville. I got to Kirksville on Saturday evening-ish and immediately saw Amber, Lorrie and Andy-Bear and we chilled while I unpacked. Then Kenny and I went to Wal-mart to buy a puzzle. It's a Disney photo mosaic and it's da bomb. But we haven't really worked on it since Sunday, which should've really been called Funday. Move-in day was on Sunday. It was anti-climatic. Usually, the parent-child drama is better than cable television, but this year, I was at the actual Help Desk, so I didn't get to witness as much of it as I would've liked.
As of this week, I've just been working at the Help Desk, staying up late and being pretty tired. We went to the Aquatic center yesterday and "swam." And then the rest of the day/eve was spent eating a lot of sugar and watching a lot of television and movies. It was pretty nice. I watched Welcome to the Dollhouse again, and it still cracks me up. As far as design goes, I guess I'm on hiatus this week while I wrap up my Help Desk job. Classes start on Monday. Ugh, 7:30am class.
