Sorry it's been so long, guys. I can blame it on my shitty Internet connection as of late (I guess Rosslyn didn't anticipate the overload of computers coming along with new residents) but I can only really blame my lack of updates on myself!
Good news though, I reinstalled my iPhone blog app and now I can update from the comfort of my cell phone. I've been keeping busy here in LA---I've tried to keep an even balance of work and play and more work.
Last week, I had dinner at The Staples Center. SC is okay, I guess. It was reminicent of Power & Light. Also that night, there was a Lakers game so it was a bit busy during halftime but calmed down soon after. Speaking of, I'm tentatively going to a Lakers game this coming Tuesday. My cousin has a friend who has courtside season tickets. Should be a good time...I imagine a lot of pregame drinking and hopefully a lot of celebs, um, I mean...watching the game. After dinner ($18 for 2 crabcakes, really?), we went to The Standard, this hotel in downtown LA with a rooftop bar, holla! It was pretty sweet and I actually knew the DJ, crazy how life works. Anyway, it wasn't even that cold out on the roof, but they had these lamp heaters and everything was red. Pretty swanky. No BL, but I had far more tequila and Amstel than I should've. There were also these huge love sacs inside these round capsule things that looked super comfortable and VERY awkward to get in and out of. Looked like a good make-out location though. Another observation would be that there were too many corporate lame-os in suits milling around.
This past weekend, I ventured to Melrose and visited my fave store, American Vintage. I can spend hours (& $$$$) there SO easily. I was safe though. I only bought 2 scarves and these really great grey, suede boots. SO CUTE. I'm trying to control my spending bc Christmas is coming up and once my vendor gets them in, I'll be buying some Ray-Bans! I'm still deciding on what color, but I'm gonna be lookin' so fly!
In one month and two days, I'll be landing at MCI! I'm going to be home for 14 wonderful days! I'm SO stoked. My only plans so far will be a mini-vacay to the great lands of Iowa. I can't wait to see K. I miss my man so much. Of course, I'm really excited to see my fam and spend the holidays eating tons of Filipino food, getting presents, giving presents, watching Elf, bundling up for snow, lots of hugs, Amber Jones and good times had by all. I'm still trying to iron out NYE plans...it'll be good no matter what, though, considering I'll be in good company (and I'm not talking about that Topher Grace and ScarJo (saw her IRL) movie).

I hope to have a little Jessica Endaya in my break too! OMG did I tell you I am throwing a NYE party?
