Why I love Southwest Airlines

Besides not having baggage fees, they have such good deals on flights! Sometimes I can find a flight for $99!

Anyway. So last night, Kenny and I were bitchin’ about how flights are expensive around the end of August (Kenny wanted to fly out here for my bday to celebrate BOTH of our bdays since they’re only a week and a half apart) and we kind of came to the conclusion that we would just save money and he can come out here at a different time. Besides, next month is August already and we waited too long to book it (we are always so good about that, too).

UNTIL.

Just a few moments ago, I get this Southwest Airlines alert (I also get their e-mailed updates daily) and they have a fall fare sale! Tickets are $50 cheaper now! And totally affordable and totally on the week of my birthday. I just texted K, but he’s at work so he won’t see it for another 3 hours. But maybe we can book a flight tonight! CROSS YO’ FINGERS!
